Six areas of your site, watched and worked on continuously. Everything below is delivered through the care plans — no vague "support hours", just named work on a schedule.

Updates & maintenance

WordPress core, themes and plugins updated on a fixed cadence — monthly, fortnightly or weekly depending on plan. A backup is taken before every run; conflicts are rolled back immediately and investigated before a retry. On Complete Care, major updates are tested on a staging copy first, so your live site never meets an untested change.

Security

A firewall and brute-force protection in front of the site, malware scanning behind it, and virtual patching by Patchstack covering the dangerous gap between a vulnerability being disclosed and its official fix arriving. Business Care adds advanced security optimisation; Complete Care adds security incident response.

Backups

Encrypted off-site backups, stored in the EU, with 50 days of retention — daily on Essential and Business, hourly on Complete Care. Backups are verified restorable, because a backup that has never been tested is a hope, not a safety net. Complete Care includes emergency restoration.

Monitoring

Uptime checked every hour, every 30 minutes, or every 5 minutes by plan, alongside SSL certificate monitoring on every tier. Business Care and above also watch the things that fail silently: broken links, contact forms that stop delivering, and Core Web Vitals drifting downward.

Performance

Speed optimisation, database cleanup and caching, done as ongoing work rather than a one-off — because sites slow down gradually as content, plugins and revisions accumulate. Core Web Vitals are monitored so a regression is caught as a trend, not discovered in a ranking drop.

Support & reporting

Email support on every plan, with priority handling on Business Care and above. Every month you receive a report in plain English: what ran, what was found, what we did. Complete Care includes 45 minutes of bug fixes and content changes monthly, plus a strategy report with one concrete recommendation — or an honest "nothing needed this month".
